What to know before your first visit.
Thank you for choosing Idaho Allergy as your family’s allergy and asthma care specialist.
welcome to idaho allergy
The purpose of your visit is to obtain extensive medical information concerning your condition. Please plan on your initial visit lasting two hours. It will include detailed medical history, a physical examination, and laboratory and skin testing if indicated. To ensure accurate test results, you will need to stop taking antihistamines, (i.e. Benadryl), 5-7 days prior to your appointment.
what to know
Your condition will be discussed and a course of treatment outlined in detail. We will work with your family physician, internist, or pediatrician to coordinate and integrate your care. A copy of your evaluation will be sent to your primary health care provider.
We ask that you make arrangements for the care of young children who are not being evaluated. When all of the appropriate information is obtained, usually at the time of the first visit, our findings and recommendations will be reviewed.
